Forgetting the clearance needed around the structure
The footprint in the chart only counts the gazebo's interior area — add at least 50 cm to 1 m of clearance all around for comfortable circulation, otherwise a 3.5 m gazebo can end up pressed against a neighbouring hedge or fence once installed.
Overestimating seated capacity
The figure shown assumes compact furniture; a full round table with tall chairs noticeably reduces actual capacity compared with a simple per-square-metre estimate.
